A mimeographed copy of a list of books and manuscripts from the Crosswood Library at the Welsh Library of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and draft bibliographies on general British history by John Edward Lloyd, on Welsh history, 1282-1500, by Dr. William Rees, and on political thought in Wales in the nineteenth century by Thomas Evans.

A volume of notes taken by Timothy Lewis at Dr J. Gwenogvryn Evans's lectures on palaeography at the University of Manchester, 1906-1907 (ff. 20-56); Lewis's printed registration book for the University of Berlin, 1908 (ff. 57-68); and a manuscript 'Bibliography of Material relating to the History of Wales' in the hand of E[dward] A[rthur] Lewis, University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, 1900-1901 (ff. 1-19).
The registration book lists lectures to be taken, October 1908-March 1909 (ff. 59 verso-60), but is otherwise unused.

Polemical Theology. Ii Philology:. 1. Lexicons. 2. Grammars. 3. Miscellaneous Philology and Criticism. Iii History:. 1. Historical Books in Welsh. 2. Relating to the History of Wales. 3. Topography. 4. Tours. 5. Biography. 6. Antiquities. Iv Poetry. According to the list of contents at the beginning of the volume sections were proposed on Music (part of IV), Periodicals (V) and Miscellaneous (VI) but these have not been included. The titles number in all 1096 but there are about 132 blank entries, apparently for the most part intended for later accessions. The latest books recorded in the lists are dated 1839.
