Penllyn Jones (d. 1902), Calvinistic Methodist minister and librarian of the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, comprising notes on the psalms; transcripts by Thomas Charles Edwards (1837-1900) of miscellaneous correspondence; examination answers, 1871; and essays on education in Wales and on Welsh hymn writers.

Papers, 1793-1870, of members of the Morgan-Clifford family of Herefordshire and Monmouthshire, comprising a commonplace book and diaries in the hand of William Morgan-Clifford and miscellaneous papers of Colonel and Mrs Henry and Catherine Harriet Morgan-Clifford, which include letters from the geologist William Pengelly.

Stonesifer and others concerning Davies.

Deeds and documents, 1774-1933, relating mainly to farms called Penrhyn Mawr and Penrhyn Fach, and in particular to a parcel of Penrhyn Fach called Park y Quay on which Penrhyn Castle was built in the parish of St Dogmaels, co Pembroke, with also related maps, correspondence, and sales catalogues.

This collection forms one group of the many manuscripts acquired from time to time (together with numerous printed works) from Henry Blackwell, New York (born at Liverpool, 1851, died New York, 1928). This group includes 18th century light remarks and correspondence by a certain S. D. and J. B.; a transcript, in bardic script, of poetry by Gwalchmai, with illustrations by Hugh Maurice; minutes of a New York eisteddfod committee, 1883-1885, and a notebook recording details of the 1886 New York eisteddfod.

Deeds, documents and business papers, 1843-1955, of the Evans family of Neuaddfawr and Rhydyronen, p. Llanfihangel Genau'r Glyn, Cardiganshire, together with poor rate books for the township of Trefeurig in the parish of Llanbadarn Fawr, [1850s]-[1860s] and an account book of Seion Independent Chapel in the township of Ceulan-a-Maesmor, 1857-1872.

The fonds comprises research material relating to drovers and drove roads in Wales, and in other parts of Britain and Ireland, reflecting R. G. Avent's interest in the subject. The papers include manuscript notes, notebooks and offprints from journals and magazines, together with some related publications. Also included is a card index containing references to relevant printed sources, some of which are cross-referenced with the notes.

The fonds comprises reports and planning papers, minutes, newsletters, briefs, press releases, press cuttings, correspondence, campaign posters, paste-ups, financial records, leaflets, information packs and travelling particulars relating to the Jubilee 2000 campaign in Wales, 1998-2001.
