Biographical history

The blacksmith Benjamin Evans came from Aberbank Forge, Henllan, Cardiganshire. He was Secretary of Master Farriers and Smiths Union, Newcastle Emlyn District.

Records of Benjamin Evans, Henllan, Cardiganshire, relating mainly to his work as a blacksmith, 1888-1954, comprising account books, 1888-1924; material relating to the Master Farriers and Smiths Union, Newcastle Emlyn District, including papers regarding scales of prices, c.1913-1940; and Christmas cards sent to Mr T. Evans, Benjamin Evans's sôn, 1940-1954.
