The Herberts of Monmouthshire, &c.
A manuscript entitled A true Copy of an Ancient memorable Treatise of Record touching the Progeny and Descent of the Honorable Name & Family of the Herbert's, by Commission from Edward IV. An. Dom. 1460, the copy including genealogies of and notes on the family of Herbert, lords of Raglan, earls of Pembroke, and their descendants, together with similar information on other Monmouthshire families.
A volume compiled in 1881 by or for Colonel Thomas Lewis Hampton-Lewis, comprising a list of deeds and documents, 1567-1878, with copies and abstracts, relating to the Henllys estate in the counties of Anglesey, Caernarfon, Denbigh and Gloucester (ff. 3-176) (cf. UCNW Bangor, Catalogue of Henllys Papers); and copies of memorial inscriptions and extracts from parish registers and other sources, 1460-1885, relating to the Hamptons and their ancestors (ff. 177-88 verso). Related items, 1880-1904, tipped into the volume, include two letters, 1880, concerning the granting of a faculty to erect a mausoleum for the Hampton family in Llan-faes churchyard (f. 189).
The Harries family of Tre-gwynt,
An illustrated history of the family of Harries of Tre-gwynt, parish of Granston, co. Pembroke, compiled in 1918, with additions to 1933, by N[elson] G[eorge] Harries, Wolverhampton. Relevant press cuttings are mounted in the volume, and the illustrations are largely in the form of photographs of the interior and exterior of the house and of family coats of arms.

C. [sic] Egerton Allen; military commissions and a certificate of proficiency of Nelson George Harries, 1896-1914; transcripts of statements of account of Thomas Fred[eric]k Harries, 1807-1809, and of a covering letter, 1809, from Wm. Evans, Haverfordwest, in connection with the will of the former's father [George Harries]; transcripts of letters, 1810-1815 and undated, of Sir George Beaumont, [Colonel] O[wen] Philipps, Bath, Wm. A copy, 2009, of the memoirs of William Haggar's children, edited by the donor Peter Yorke, his great grandson, including an introduction and appendices and notes by him. William Haggar was a showman and travelling film-maker who spent a great deal of time in South Wales producing and showing his films.
