A deed or remission, 14 Sept. 1284, to Reginald de Grey, justice of Chester, of 60s., the yearly loss which it is estimated he would suffer in consequence of the King disafforesting the cantred of Englefeld, so that for the remaider of his term of office, viz. eight years from Michaelmas, 9 Edward 1, he is to pay to the Exchequer 785 and a half marks instead of 790 marks for the custodies specified in former grants which are here recited.
