Title deeds for properties in Street y Velin in the town of Llanfyllin. They include a mortgages by Robert ap Robert ap Hughe of Ystumgynon, 1607/8, 1615/16; a lease by his son, Edward ap Robert of Brynelltyn, of a house called Y Ty Mawr yn Streete y Velin, 1614, followed by a mortgage and evidence of sale to the mortgagee, 1620-1622; a deed of sale by Hughe ap Robert of Cefnllys, to Edward Brice/Brees of Llanfyllin, of the house and garden previously belonging to Robert ap Robert, dec., 1620; post-nuptial settlement of Edward Brees and Anne vch Hugh, in which the property is called Y Ty yn yr Ardd Las, 1624; conveyance of a seat and burial place in Llanfyllin church to Edward Brees, 1625; quitclaim by Lowry vch Hugh, widow of Edward ap Robert, 1625; pre-nuptial settlement (2 copies) of Thomas Brees and Jane, daughter of Edward Owen of Conwy, 1639, with memo relating to sale of her dower, 1666; mortgage by Anne Brees, widow, and Edward Brees [the younger], 1664; lease of the tannery, 1665; an agreement and deeds of sale by E.B., Mary his wife and Jane his mother to Evan Vaughan of Llangedwyn, of Ty yn yr Ardd Las, with the garden and half an acre, several other messuages and buildings, including the bark mill and tan-house, and sitting places in church, 1666; a conveyance by Owen Buckley [E.B.’s mortgagee] to Evan Vaughan, with accounts relating to the mortgage and repairs, 1667; a lease, 1667; Evan Vaughan’s conveyance to trustees, 1671; and deeds for the purchase of a quillet of land adjoining the garden wall in Streete y Velin from Edward Vaughan of Llwydiarth, 1672.
