Includes the will, 1611, and codicil, 1613, of Richard Gwynne of Bangor specifying his disposal of the Glasinfryn estate, a bequest of £10 to Henry Bishop of Bangor to purchase a piece of commemorative plate, and an annual payment of £3 out of lands in Clegyrog to maintain a collegiate scholar in the choir of Bangor Cathedral, chosen out of the rectory of Llantrisant, Anglesey; the inventory of Sir John Wynn which includes armoury and munitions, one trumpet ‘with the flagg and tassell’, a signet ring, lead ore and weights, and a fully equipped barque, 1628; the will of Sir Richard Wynn, confirming previous settlements of his estates in North Wales and devising the manor of Wick and extensive lands at Isleworth in Middlesex, London and Lincolnshire, also including bequests of rich personal goods and a trust for the accommodation of paupers in the almshouse at Brentford, 1649; drafts and instructions for drawing up the will of Maurice Wynn of Crogen, concerning the estates inherited from his brother Sir Richard Wynn, his own purchased estates in Merioneth, Caernarfonshire and Denbighshire, and part of the manor of Rosse as well as properties at Walsingham and elsewhere in Norfolk, 1656; the inventory and letters of administration of Henry Wynn of the Inner Temple, 1671; and and an account of money found at Wynnstay after the death of Sir John Wynn, which also includes several pistols, 1719.
