The Finance Bill is on. The progress of the Licensing Bill through the House. 'I am so anxious to get my Development Bill through & I could not do it unless P.M. had relieved me of this. I shall have very heavy work next week on Death Duties & Income Tax & the rest that I cannot physically get through without assistance. I have had none up to the present'. Is pleased that William George is taking a short holiday.
