History
As an architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis was commissioned to build and renovate houses of varying sizes and grandeur. He also built follies and structured gardens to tie in with the houses he built. His most famous project was Portmeirion, but his first major project was the rebuilding of Llangoed Hall. He also took an interest in his own local area, working on several projects in North Wales.
