(I) A transcript of Peniarth MS 49, at times collected with other manuscripts, e.g. Banks MS 26 [i.e. Havod MS 26]. The transcript, which was made at Oxford in October 1890, is bound in a Red Book of Hergest, Vol. 1, cover and it contains the following note: 'Cywyddau D. ap Gwilim / Gwenogvryn Evans / Lent to my friend Timothy Lewis for use in the preparation of his Edition of D. ap G.'s poems, & then to be given to the National Library of Wales. / J.G.E.' At the end are a few 'cywyddau' from other sources. (Ii) A transcript, made at Oxford in the last quarter of 1893, of Mostyn MS 212, the poetry of Dafydd ap Gwilym, collected with various other manuscripts. The pages are numbered, but it appears that p. 176 should be followed by p. 190. At the end are a number of 'cywyddau' from other sources, including some transcribed from Shirburn MS 113 C. 27 (= Llanstephan MS 6), in part by another copyist. (Iii) Peniarth MS 54, i, pp. 36-99; Peniarth MS 48, pp. 3-20. (Iv) A collection of the poetical works of Guto'r Glyn, transcribed from Mostyn MS 156 and other sources, and arranged in alphabetical order, according to the first lines. (V) A transcript of 'Officium beate Marie from the Shrewsbury School MS', with variant readings or spellings from Peniarth MS 191. The transcript was completed on Feb. 2, 1904, and the variant readings on Feb. 6. With the transcript is a letter from T. E. Pickering, Shrewsbury School Librarian, Feb. 28, 1904. An index to the words in the Book of Taliesin, with additional entries. (2 vols.) 'Timothy Lewis copied my slips of Taliesin words into this "Bible"'. Facsimiles of Plates.
