Papers, 1851-[1925x1931], from the library of Hugh Ellis, containing material by or relating to Ellis and members of his family. They include notebooks of his grandfather Robert John Pryse (Gweirydd ap Rhys); autograph essays and scrapbooks compiled by Gweirydd's son John Robert Pryse (Golyddan) and a scrapbook compiled by Gweirydd's daughter Catherine Prichard (Buddug); a short biography of Golyddan by Gweirydd ap Rhys for publication in Enwogion Cymru; draft articles on Golyddan by Hugh Ellis; letters relating to Golyddan's work; transcripts by Hugh Ellis of Golyddan's poetry; and six volumes containing material collected by Hugh Ellis in the course of compiling Hanes Methodistiaeth Gorllewin Meirionydd (Dolgellau, 1928), which includes the original manuscript of the work.

The Herbert Manuscripts belonged or relate mainly to Edward, first baron Herbert of Cherbury (1583-1648; D.N.B., xxvi, 173), philosopher and metaphysician, and to his brothers, Sir Henry Herbert (1595-1673; D.N.B., xxvi, 195), Master of the Revels, and George Herbert (1593-1663; D.N.B., xxvi, 185), poet, and to other members of the Herbert family.

The fonds comprises records of Nant Hall Road English Presbyterian Church, Prestatyn, comprising minute books, 1924-1988, ministry collection books, 1911-1989, and other account books, 1930-1982.

Papers of the Breton nationalist Louis Feutren (1922-2009), together with papers of two fellow nationalists accumulated by him, Neven Henaff (Célestin Lainé, 1908-1983), and Alan Heusaff (1921-1999). All three were prominent members of the Breton collaborationist force 'Bezen Perrot' formed in December 1943, and all three eventually fled to Ireland sometime after the Second World War. Some of the papers relate to the activities of 'Bezen Perrot', but most are later personal papers.

Literary and personal papers, 1854, [c. 1932]-1960, of the novelist, poet and artist Margiad Evans comprising mainly manuscript and typescript drafts of both published and unpublished works and including a draft of her second novel The Wooden Doctor (Oxford, 1933), also manuscript and typescript drafts in preparation for her first published volume of poetry, Poems from Obscurity (London, 1947), manuscript essays, and typescript radio scripts by or based on Margiad Evans's work; together with journals for 1933-1934 and 1935-1939, which include mainly literary and personal notes; and miscellaneous papers.
