Special livery by Sir William Cecil, Knight, Lord Burghley, Lord Treasurer of England and Master of the Court of Wards, and Richard Kinesmyll, esq., Surveyor of the said Court, to Walter Rees, esq., of all the lands, etc. in cos Carmarthen and Pembroke, which have descended to him from Griffith Rees [ob. 10 Sept. 1592, and of whose lands an inquisition was made at Llandeilo Fawr (Llandillovaur) on 18 June 1593. A schedule of the extent of the lands in annexed, containing a note that "Ellenora the widow of Griffith" was living at the time of the inqisition.
