Annual returns, 1937-1967, sent by local Co-operative Societies in South Wales and the border counties (Western Section) to the movement's headquarters, Co-operative Union Ltd, Manchester. The returns give details of land owned by each local society, profits made, the numbers of employees and members, particulars of trading, investments, liabilities and assets, and commercial operations undertaken during the course of the year. In several cases copies of annual Reports and Balance Sheets and other papers are appended to the returns. The returns were accompanied by a box list which has been used as the basis for the present list.

Records, 1927-1963, of the White House charity, Folkestone, Ty Gwyn Charity Convalescent Home, Llwyngwril, and Boverton Girls' Camp and Hafod Rest Home, Llantwit Major, including account books, financial statements, deeds, visitors books, admission and attendance registers, minute books, a medical log book, superintendents' reports, letters, and other associated papers.

Papers relating to the 1961 and 1968 Sunday opening referenda, including correspondence, 1958-1969, between Alwyn Thomas and politicians and various temperance-related organizations; copies of Alliance News, pamphlets and other printed matter, 1960-1968; posters, 1961-[1968]; press cuttings, 1961-[1968]; financial records, 1969; and other miscellaneous papers, 1961. A further donation was received August 2014. These papers remail uncatalogued.

Papers of Mrs L. Eirlys Williams, 1905-1978, relating to her work for the Baptist Union of Wales and other Baptist causes, including letters to the Rev. and Mrs E. J. Williams [L. Eirlys Williams], 1949-1964; letters from various correspondents addressed to Mrs M. Christy Davies, secretary of the Welsh Baptist Ministers' and Missionaries' Wives Prayer Union, 1950-1953; Baptist Union of Great Britain and Ireland papers and printed material, 1930-1978; Baptist Union of Wales papers and printed material, including copies of The Inset, 1941-1978; and Baptist Missionary Society papers and printed material, 1905-1974, including English and Welsh copies of Prayer Partners, 1933-1974.

Two reports written by the donor, 1995 and 1996, for the Welsh Library Association, relating to the 'proposed provision of public library services in the new unitary authorities for Wales', together with an appendix to the second report.

Papers, 1952-1953, of the director Gilbert Gunn relating to the production of the classic Welsh comedy-drama film 'Valley of song' (frequently referred to in these papers as 'Choir practice', the play which it is based on).

Papers of Christian Rebuild, 2000-2008, donated by its secretary The Reverend Christopher Gillham. Christian Rebuild is a UK Charity, first established in Wales, which gives aid to Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The papers include leaflets and correspondence relating to the charity.

Papers of and relating to the artist and poet Brenda Chamberlain including her radio script 'The Protagonists', 1967, exhibition catalogues, 1962-1973. Also included is a biographical note on the artist, 1973, for Forecast, newspaper of Bangor University students, on an exhibition of her works in the university.

A photocopy of 'What's in a name?', autobiography of boxer Beaumont Valentine Griffiths, known as Beau, born in 1931 in Gilfach Goch in the Rhondda Valley.

Letters, 1847-1873 and n.d., from Henry Griffiths of Brecon, Liverpool and Bowden, mainly relating to education in Wales and to the proposed Normal School at Brecon. One letter, 1854, contains adjudications in both Welsh and English by Griffiths on essays submitted for competition at an eisteddfod (see also a letter, 1854, relating to the adjudications), while another, 1862, to William Roberts, tutor at Brecon Independent College, relates to Griffiths's application for the Theological Chair at Carmarthen Presbyterian College.
Also included is a letter, 1889, from Samuel Job of Illinois; a letter, 1906, from Hugh Williams ('Hywel Cernyw') at Pontypridd; and a letter, 1928, from Caleb Lewis at Blaina, Monmouthshire. The last two letters relate to the Welsh periodicals of the time.

A composite volume written after 1818 and containing sermons by, and in the hand of, the Reverend Christmas Evans, Baptist minister, of Llangefni, etc.

Diaries, 1967-2010, of Iona Trefor Jones (1925-2011), relating mainly to her work with flowers, together with her reminiscences: ‘Cofio’ (in Welsh), and a scrapbook chronicling her contribution to flower festivals held in Chester Cathedral, Bangor Cathedral, Holyhead Parish Church and others.
