Four letters in the hand of Richard Bennett, 1918-1928, together with one in the hand of his father Edward Bennett, 1 January 1863, and a letter to Alun Jones Hughes from Cecil Vaughan Owen, 1981; together with photocopies of some six further letters from Richard Bennett, dated 1908-1932.
Additional papers (2023 donation) comprise three letters, 1933 and 1935, from Richard Bennett, two of which were sent to the donor's grandmother, Mrs Elizabeth Hughes, together with a notebook containing an address by him, 1934, on the occasion of the bicentenary of Melinbyrhedyn Chapel.

Manuscripts, 1707-[1937], from the library of Richard Bennett of Llanbrynmair and Caersws, Montgomeryshire, much of which (NLW MSS 11826-11880) is in the hand of Richard Bennett himself. The collection comprises material largely of Montgomeryshire interest and includes parochial records, transcripts from parish registers, extracts from probate records (some of Merionethshire interest) and genealogical records, and extracts from printed works relating to Montgomeryshire.
