A volume lettered 'From an Old Politician to a Young Politician. 'Cardi i Geredigion!", being typescript copies, with manuscript additions and annotations, of five speeches delivered by T. J. Macnamara on 14-15 February 1921 in support of the candidature of Captain Ernest Evans in the Cardiganshire parliamentary by-election. The speeches were delivered respectively at Newcastle Emlyn, Cardigan, Lampeter, Aberaeron, and Aberystwyth.

Poems, essays and other prose items written by Eliza Carmarthen (1825-1872), i.e. Eliza Phillipps Williams, Carmarthen, who married (1) the Rev. John Saunders Hughes and (2) the Rev. Thomas Johns.
The volume contains short essays and thoughts on Scriptural and other subjects, two short stories entitled 'I wish to be happy' and 'The Dying Student' and a large number of hymns and poems, mostly in English. Also included are two poems in English by Eliza's father John Williams, with a Welsh translation of one of them, and silhouettes by the late Miss Aldrit, Highbury Hall, Weston-super-Mare, and Mrs Johns.

Minute-book, 1796-1909, of the trustees of the charity created by the will of Ellen Glynne of Elernion, parish of Llanaelhaearn, co. Caernarfon, spinster, respecting the almshouse at Llandwrog and property in the parishes of Llandwrog and Llanllyfni, co. Caernarfon, and in the parish of Llangoed, co. Anglesey. The minutes include details of admittances to the almshouse and details of tenants, rents and repair of trust property. Also included in the volume are copies of the will, 1727, with codicils, 1728 and 1732/3, of Ellen Glynne, proved at London, 1733 (tipped in between ff. i and ii; ff. 1-6v).
