Twelve letters, 1900-1902, from Edward Thomas to Sir Owen M. Edwards, his erstwhile tutor at Lincoln College, Oxford, written shortly after Thomas had left university, their main purpose being to ask for guidance in seeking employment; they also reflect his attachment to Wales and his interest in the Welsh language.

Holograph letters from Lewis Edwards, Bala, to his son Llewelyn, 1864-1882 (5) (the recipient's health and his studies, the birth of the recipient's son and heir, the proposed opening of the Bala-Festiniog railway, personal); from Lewis Edwards, from Hyde Park, London, to his wife Jane, 1874 (personal); from T[homas] C[harles] Edwards, from Stratford-on-Avon and from Leamington, to his brother Llewelyn, 1867 (the writer's marriage and return to Liverpool); and from Thomas Charles [Edwards] to his mother, undated (the writer's proposed marriage, personal). Also included in the volume is a prayer, in Welsh, by T. C. Edwards, 1859.

Liber de regimine principum of Giles of Rome (Egidius Romanus), on ff. 1-262 verso. The text is defective by the loss of two leaves, cut out, after f. 192 (breaking off in Book III, part 2, cap. 17, resuming in cap. 19) and the loss of a quire after f. 198 (breaking off in Book III, part 3, cap. 4, resuming in cap. 11). Written by a single secretary hand. Blue initials with red penwork, 6-line on f. 1 and 5-line on f. 178 (for Book III). Capitula at the beginning of each part of each Book; sidenotes provided by the scribe throughout; no index. This manuscript is not included by C. F. Briggs either in his 'Manuscripts of Giles of Rome's De regimine principum in England, 1300-1500: a handlist', Scriptorium, 47 (1993), pp. 60-73, or the list in his Giles of Rome's De Regimine Principum (Cambridge, 1999).
