A copy of a letter sent to William Arthur Lee, 5 June 1948, from Dora E. Yates, curator of the Gypsy Lore Society, of which Augustus John was President. William Arthur Lee was the grandson of Ithal Lee, gypsy and friend of Augustus John.

Seven letters, [1936]-[1940], from Dot [Dorothy] Watkins, the poet Vernon Watkins's sister, to Eric Viktor ('Fig') Falk (1909-79), the donor's uncle. Vernon and Fig met at Repton School, and Fig got to know the Watkins family after he was invited to spend the school holidays at their home. Included is a note 'Memories of Eric Falk's connection with the Watkins family' by the donor Alison Watson.

A copy, [2015], of an interview conducted by Dr Jules Smith with the poet Douglas Houston between August 2011 and early 2012, the last interview before his death. It was published on Hinterland, an online e-poetry journal associated with the University of Leicester, in 2013.

Ten typescript articles and transcripts, 1973-1984, nearly all written or compiled by Dr Clare Taylor, Aberystwyth.
They comprise: (i) 'America 1851-1852', dated April 1973, a translation by Mari Ellis of the diary of Iorthryn Gwynedd (NLW MS 9521A), with an introduction by Clare Taylor; (ii) 'The Phillipps Manuscript: A Chapter in Early Welsh Migration to the West Indies and to the United States', 1973, a transcript of NLW MS 92B with an introduction by Clare Taylor (the introduction only was published, with the same title, in National Library of Wales Journal, 19.3 (Summer 1976), 243-248); (iii) 'A Description of Trinidad 1881-1882', 1973, a transcript of [?part of] NLW MS 17267D; (iv-vii) 'A Victorian Guide to Wales', 1973 and undated, four volumes containing transcripts from nineteenth-century trade directories of descriptions of individual parishes in Anglesey, Caernarvonshire, Denbighshire and Montgomeryshire; (viii) an article, 1979, entitled 'The Journal of an Absentee Proprietor: Nathaniel Phillips of Slebech', concerning NLW, Slebech Estate Records 4292-4302; (ix) 'Isaac Williams of Cardiganshire – the Christian poet – an introduction to his nature poetry', 1984, an article subsequently published in Transactions of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion (1986), 115-126; and (x) 'NLW MS 15505 Picton Papers and Letters', [n.d.], consisting of transcripts (and in some cases translations from the Welsh) of letters of Welsh-American interest in NLW MS 15505E, as well as NLW MS 14111D and elsewhere. Items i-iv and viii-ix are photocopied or cyclostyled, while v-vii and x are carbon copies.

A notebook kept by Dr D. Edwards, Caerphilly, grandson of William Edwards, the bridge builder, and containing notes on chemistry, physics, and mathematics, etc.

A scrapbook concerning Dr D Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981), including letters, 1926-1977, from Dr Lloyd- Jones, some relating to his decision to give up medicine and accept a call to minister at Sandfields Forward Movement Mission, Port Talbot, compiled by E. T. Rees, church secretary. It also includes press cuttings, 1926-1968, and family and chapel photographs.

The correspondents include A. J. Sylvester, 1979 and Eirene White, 1978 and 1979.

Papers of the donor, 1970-2010, including two letters, 1970 and 1973, from Idris Cox to him, an article written by Edgar Evans entitled 'History of Company Unions in South Wales', together with a tribute to 'The bard of Bodloesygâd, Cwm Cynfal: Arnold Rattensbury (1921-2007)' and a 'Shanty for tormented tenants', 2010, by H. G. A. Hughes.

A manuscript containing a dedication by Dr Henry Perri (Parry) (1560/1-1617), chaplain to Queen Elizabeth and bishop of Worcester, to the Church of St Paul; also included is a poem entitled De Furoribus Gallicis & horrenda Parisina caede Amirallii Castibonei & regis perfidia, Narratio.

Papers accumulated by Dr Kath Filmer-Davies while researching for her book Eisteddfod: a Welsh tradition in Australia (Brisbane: Seren Press, 2001). Included are press cuttings relating to eisteddfodau held in Penrith in 1999-2000 and Geelong in 1982 and 1984; participation certificates and other items issued mainly for the Devonport Diamond Jubilee Eisteddfod in 1988; a paper relating to the future of eisteddfodau in Australia prepared by the Association of Eisteddfod Societies of Australia Incorporated, 1999, and an address, 2000, given by Kevin Hein to the Annual General Meeting of the Association of Eisteddfod Societies of Australia which was formed in 1992; photographs of key figures associated with eisteddfodau in Australia; together with a post card, 1908, of the State Armory, Scranton, Pennsylvania, where an 'Eisteddfod Fawr' was held in 1908; and a programme of the 6th Eisteddfod held at Cornwall in 1998.
