Estate, personal, professional and shipping records of the Havard family of Newport and Milford, both in Pembrokeshire, including the business papers, 1839-1858, of Levi Havard of Milford, shipbuilder, and the professional papers, 1867-1893, of Dr David Havard of Newport, District Medical Officer for the Cardigan Poor Law Union. Amongst the shipping records there are papers, 1833-1879, relating to the Newport schooners 'Harmony','Claudia' and 'Adroit', and the Milford brig 'Anne'.

The collection comprises records from the office of Williams & Williams, Haverfordwest, solicitors, largely deeds and draft deeds, mostly 19th century, and many relating to the Haverfordwest area of Pembrokeshire. In the course of their work, Williams & Williams accumulated legal and other papers relating to their clients interests, including the estates of Ambleston, Begelly, Brawdy, Camrose, Court House, Cwmgloyne, Hean Castle, Hodgeston, Hook, Manorbier, Manorowen, Orielton, Pigeonsford, Somerton, Treffgarne, Ty Gwynne, Walwyns Castle, Welsh Hook, Wilsons, Wolfsdale and Yelverton. There are also documents relating to the Fishguard Harbour Improvement Company, several railway companies and a large number of probate records and marriage settlements. There are also groups of deeds and documents relating mainly to properties in Carmarthenshire, Glamorganshire and Pembrokeshire. There are also documents relating to church properties, nonconformist chapels, poor rate papers, articles of apprenticeship and articles of partnership.

This group includes 18th century light remarks and correspondence by a certain S. D. and J. B.; a transcript, in bardic script, of poetry by Gwalchmai, with illustrations by Hugh Maurice; minutes of a New York eisteddfod committee, 1883-1885, and a notebook recording details of the 1886 New York eisteddfod.
