The archive comprises the political papers of Christine Chapman, Labour AM for Cynon Valley 1999-2016, with material related to various issues including women in politics, the campaign for legislation to ban the smacking of children and work in and on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales.

The archive of Cymdeithas Cymry Caerodor (the Bristol Welsh Society), 1920-2019, including the records of the Society in its earlier form as Cymdeithas Cymrodorion Caerodor. The collection consists of papers, correspondence, and financial documents, all related to the establishment and running of the Society, including meeting minutes, 1920-2018 (with gaps); financial documents and account statements, 1944-2010, and secretary’s reports and correspondence, 1985-2017 (with gaps), along with other general administrative papers, 1986-2018 (with gaps); and papers, correspondence, photographs, and press cuttings relating to the Society’s events and activities, 1948-2019 (with gaps), including rallies, Eisteddfodau, St David’s Day celebrations, concerts, and other events including the Society’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 1994.

Papers of Alun Lewis, 1919-1996, including family correspondence and letters from Robert Graves; autograph and typescript copies of published and unpublished poems; typescript copies of published and unpublished prose; personalia; an unpublished autobiographical novella of college life; memorial tributes to Alun Lewis in poetry form; and notebooks containing poetry and other writings by him.

Personal diaries, 1892-1949, which include detailed accounts of his years in retirement at Barmouth, Merionethshire, from 1939 and subsequently at Ty'n y Ceunant, Islaw'r dref, Dolgellau; draft notebooks, 1895-1946, containing records of appointments, activities and descriptions of holiday visits, including many to Wales, detailed accounts of ascents of Cadair Idris, Merionethshire, and other British mountains, including Snowdon, Elidir Fach and Elidir Fawr in Caernarfonshire, and Pumlumon, Cardiganshire; registers of correspondence, 1939-1940, 1943-1944; a register of snapshots [which are not part of the archive], 1906-1940; a volume of statistics of his mountain ascents, holiday travels, and walks, 1892-1951, and family papers (including some relating to L. W. Brown of Bath), 1846-1926.
