A photostat facsimile of an abstract of a survey taken on 15 February 1652/3 upon the forfeiture for the delinquency of Richard Chorley of the Chorley estates in the townships of Chorley, Healey, Chernock-Richard, Walton in le Dale and Walton cum Fazakerley near Liverpool, all in the county of Lancaster, with abstracts of leases, particulars of chief rents, estimates of enclosures and waste lands in Walton, 1639, and a copy of a survey of wastes in Darby, Everton and Wavertree, 1639.

An abstract of an application, dated 8th February, 40 Elizabeth [i.e. 1598], to the Court of Star Chamber for a writ of sub-poena to cause Ednovet [Ednyfed] Gruffith [Griffith], a justice of the peace for Merioneth, Jevan ap John Gitto and others to appear to answer to various accusations enumerated by Morgan Jones of Gray's Inn.

A manuscript volume containing abstracts of title, [c. 1816] (watermark 1814), relating to the estates of Sir Mark Wood of Gatton, Surrey (formerly of Piercefield, Monmouthshire), in the counties of Monmouthshire and Glamorgan.
The volume is in three sections (labelled A, B and F), abstracting Wood's title to the castle and manor of Pencoed, [Llanmartin], the manor of St Brides [Netherwent] and other properties in Monmouthshire, purchased from Thomas Mathews (pp. 1-106); Mathews' title to leasehold estates in Monmouthshire, including Gillylaes [Gelli-las, Llanfihangel Llantarnam] (pp. 107-145); and a supplemental abstract of Wood's title to estates in Monmouthshire and Glamorgan purchased from Mathews and others (pp. 146-346). In all some thirty-eight deeds are abstracted, the majority in abstract A. Abstracts A and B also include legal opinions of J[ohn] Holliday, Lincoln's Inn, dated 1794 and 1795 respectively (pp. 105-106, 143-145). The abstracts contain no reference to Wood's ownership of Piercefield, which had been sold in 1800.

Merioneth; together with a printed Act of Parliament, 7 August 1862, 'to authorize the Trustees of the Will of Athelstan Corbet Esquire, deceased, to grant Building Leases and Mining Leases of the Estates thereby devised, and to raise Five thousand Pounds out of the same Estates, and apply such Sum in the Improvement of the Port of Aberdovey...'.
