A manuscript, said to be from the Dre-wen district, Newcastle Emlyn, containing (pp.1-41) eight 'halsingod' carols by David Davies [?vicar of Bridell, co. Pembroke, see Geraint Bowen, "Yr Halsingod", Transactions of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion, 1945, p. 88]. Two of the 'halsingod' are said to have been composed in 1667 and 1672, but they were all copied between 1723 and 1727. At the end of the manuscript (pp. 315-323) are details of financial loans made to farmers [in the Crymych and Llanfyrnach areas of co. Pembroke] between 1777 and 1790. Also included (pp. 213-288) is a transcript of a medical work entitled "Pro Bono Publico the Sick Man's Companion or Dr Nevett's Mite to his fellow Creatures".

A collection comprising largely of correspondence and material collected by Haines when he was compiling his bibliography of Monmouthshire.

Llangenny, Breconshire (1954), relating to the Rumsey families, in particular the Rumseys of Crickhowell (see Theophilus Jones, History of Brecknockshire, IV, 258-65); together with related enclosures including photographs of an armorial pedigree of the Romsey family down to 1682 and of a genealogical table compiled by St John Rumsey corresponding to the pedigree.

An additional consignment of materials of, and accumulated by, the late H. Noel Jerman (1909-1994), including his research papers relating to properties in Kerry and surrounding areas, papers relating to the Dolforgan estate, together with maps, sale catalogues, plans and photographs, and a lithograph of Dolforgan Hall by T. Way. This group remains uncatalogued.

A work by H. Marshall, Dolgarrog entitled A Description and History of the Mid-Conway Vale, mainly relating to the parishes of Eglwys Fach, the Abbey, Dolgarrog, Caerhun and Llanbedr.

The file comprises a typescript memoir of a young person's relationship with the explorer H. M. Stanley. As a little girl and young woman, Effie Barrow met Stanley on several occasions. Stanley was a friend of her father and would occasionally visit their home in Bristol. Effie received a personal invitation to Stanley's wedding at Wesminster Abbey. Her reminiscences begin in 1886 with Stanley's dinner with her parents and include an account of the wedding and reception at Stanley's house in Richmond Terrace.

Christmas Evans; Welsh poetry transcribed by Isaac Foulkes; deeds, documents and correspondence of mainly Denbighshire and Merioneth interest; and notes, sermons, essays, etc.

A copy of H. Ivor Jones: Hanes Annibyniaeth yn Sir Gaernarfon hyd ddiwedd y ddeunawfed ganrif (Caernarfon [circa 1897], cut up and mounted, with photographs of ministers, preachers, etc. added in the margins, and with some press cuttings.

The fonds comprises papers relating to his cultural and political activities and publications, 1920-1962, together with personal papers and correspondence, 1870-1957.
