A holograph letter, 9 June, 1921, from [Sir] John Morris-Jones, Llanfair P. G., to [Sir E. Vincent Evans], containing a brief outline of the writer's personal, academic, and literary career. The letter was written on the occasion of the award to Sir John in 1921 of the Medal of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion, and was published almost in full in the Society's Transactions ... 1919-1920 (London, 1921), pp. 153-5. Also included is a holograph letter relating thereto, 9 September, 1936, from [Lady] Mary Morris-Jones to [Sir D. Owen] Evans.

[?1831]-1888, (mainly social, personal and legal). Other personal papers include the diaries of Richard Lister Venables, 1828-1893, diaries and journals of George Stovin Venables, and diaries of Mary Hannah Venables, 1809-1834. -- The remainder of the archive comprises mainly title deeds, 1665-1863, relating to properties in Breconshire, Denbighshire, Merioneth, Radnorshire, Montgomeryshire, and in the USA, personal, housekeeping and bank accounts, 1806-1893, and material relating to establishing All Saints church, Newbridge-on-Wye, 1883.
