A copy of The poetical works of Percy Bysshe Shelley [(London, 1900)], edited by W. M. Rossetti, which belonged to Ellis Humphrey Evans ('Hedd Wyn'), bearing his signature and with notes in his hand including "The poetry of shelley a very great man. Ellis Evan a brynodd y lyfr hwn yn Liverpool yr half day diwedar". The signatures of other family members, [1900]-1912, are also noted in the front and back of the volume.

Williams's son, the poet Waldo Williams, was then twelve years of age and was possibly one of the pupils being addressed.

The Foundation was established by a scheme of the Board of Education in February 1907 to administer the foundations and subsidiary endowments of the former Haverfordwest Baptist College, Pembrokeshire, and thereby provide an annual income to the North and South Wales Baptist Colleges.

'Have a Cigarette' by Saunders Lewis
A typescript draft of 'Have a Cigarette', an English translation by Saunders Lewis of his play 'Gymerwch Chi Sigaret? (Llandybie, 1956); the translation is apparently unperformed and unpublished.
The English translation amends the original Welsh version in some places, particularly in the second act, the most substantial emendation being an entirely new beginning to that act (ff. 18-21). There are also manuscript emendations and annotations by the author and another unidentified hand. The manuscript title-page (f. i) is in the hand of Saunders Lewis.
