Papers, 1911-2005, of and relating to the singing career of donor's mother, the contralto Esther Cooper-Jones, originally from Ynyshir but who lived in Aberystwyth until her death. She won many National Eisteddfod solo prizes in her youth and then went to London where she was lead singer in the Ivor Novello chorus, including certificates and concert programmes, biographical material, letters fron Clara Novello Davies, her tutor, and newspaper cuttings relating to her son Ivor Novello.

Also, an envelope containing various letters of correspondence, 'englynion', and additional press cuttings again relating to the pre-USA careers of both Amy Evans and Fraser Gange.
