Jones, Warden of Ruthin Grammar School, accompanying a copy of a manifesto, dated 17 April 1893, prepared by the Warden and others, including Alfred George Edwards (1848-1937), bishop of St Asaph, on behalf of the Governing Body of the school, giving their views as Governors against action contemplated by the Denbighshire County Education Authority and the Charity Commissioners in relation to the school, together with a note dated 8 May 1893 by Arthur Charles Humphreys Owen.
