A holograph letter from H. L. Piozzi, from Brussells, to William Pearson [the poet] in London, 1787 (references to arrangements for the writer's return, to her Continental tour, to Mr. [Willey] Revely's 'Acc[oun]ts of Egypt', etc.); 'Ode from Horace', signed 'H.T.'; and an order, 30 March 1649, from the Council of State for the Admiralty and Navy to the Commissioners of the Navy for the consideration of an enclosed letter. The latter document is signed by Rowland Wilson, junior, Valentine Wauton [regicide], and Jo[hn] Jones [regicide, of Maesygarnedd, Merioneth], and is endorsed: 'Crs. Adm. wth. ye Generalls lre. to them for ye frigotts yt carrie 130 & 150 men to haue Chirurgeons mates'.

A return of privy seals for the county of Chester, 3 September, 1604 (total sum, £2615); a statement of the Provost-Marshal's accounts, 1613/14-1615/16 (references to commissions to Sir William Selby, Sir Wilfrid Lawson, Sir Jo. Fenwick, and Sir William Hutton, and to expenses in respect of horsemen, etc.); and an acquittance, 10 April, 1619, from John Sturt, gent., to Adam Newton, esq. [aft. Sir Adam Newton], Treasurer or Receiver-General to the Prince [aft. King Charles I] for the payment of one quarter's pension of £10.

Miscellanea, including incomplete adjudications by Owen Jones on essays on the antiquities of the vale of Conway ('Henafiaethau Dyffryn Conway'), the foundation of Maenan Abbey ('Sefydliad Mynachlog Maenan'), etc.; the Elementary Certificate of the Tonic Sol-fa College awarded to William Rowland Williams, 1889 (the signatures include that of David Jenkins, examiner); a typescript copy of a poem in Welsh on the secession of Edward Stephen ('Tanymarian') to the Tory Party in 1874, with an accompanying note by R. D. Roberts, Bethesda, Caernarvonshire, to the effect that the verses were printed on the back of a postcard addressed to W. J. Parry, Bethesda, in 1877; mounted cuttings from The North Wales Chronicle, 19 October, 1934, of a report by R. D. Roberts on 'Two Gold Half Nobles of Richard II ... found in Caernarvonshire' [the one at Llanfairfechan and the other at Gerlan, Bethesda], together with manuscript notes by the author; and a typescript copy of verses by A.
