Manuscript pencil sketch, [1965], of Alun Hoddinott's 'Dives and Lazarus', a cantata for soprano and baritone soloists, choir and orchestra, with words written and adapted by Gwynno James.
The work was commissioned for the 1965 Farnham Festival and first performed on 20 May 1965. Also included is a manuscript copy of the words [?in the hand of Gwynno James] (ff. ii-iii) and a letter from Hoddinott to Felix Aprahamian, [28] March 1966 (f. i).

Photostat reproductions of documents in the Public Record Office relating to the relic known as Croes Naid, viz. the compotus of Richard de Grymesby, 1352 (Exchequer Miscellanea E.407/5/100), an extract from the Pipe Roll of 27 Edward III (1352), and an inventory of the jewels and relics belonging to St George's chapel, Windsor, 1534 (Exchequer, Treasury of Receipt Books, Vol. III, No. 11), with typewritten transcripts and translations, all mounted and bound in volume form, being one of two volumes made in 1945 at the expense of Mrs Winifred Coombe Tennant, the other presented to the Dean and Canons of St George's Chapel, Windsor.
