A notebook, 1869-70, in the hand of Stephen Amison (d. 1873), a partner in the firm of Amisons and Edwards, china and earthenware manufacturers, Longton, co. Stafford, containing recipes for glazes (ff. 1-3), medical recipes (ff. 3 verso-4), and a list of dealers in earthenware in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland (ff. 91 verso-96).
