Cyhoeddwyd yn Y Cymro, 11 Mehefin 1891, t. 2, a'i ailgyhoeddi yn Isaac Foulkes, Daniel Owen y Nofelydd (Lerpwl, 1903), tt. 1-8. = A holograph autobiographical account by Daniel Owen in the form of a letter, dated 4 June 1891, [sent to Isaac Foulkes (Llyfrbryf), editor of Y Cymro]. It was published in Y Cymro, 11 June 1891, p. 2, and reprinted in Isaac Foulkes, Daniel Owen y Nofelydd (Liverpool, 1903), pp. 1-8.
Ceir ambell i frawddeg ychwanegol yn y llawysgrif na gyhoeddwyd yn Y Cymro (ff. 4-5, 9). Ysgrifennwyd y llythyr ar gefn dalennau o Gofrestr Etholwyr, 1879, ar gyfer Llanelwy a Rhyl. = The manuscript contains a few sentences which were not published in Y Cymro (ff. 4-5, 9). The letter is written on the reverse of leaves from an 1879 Register of Electors for St Asaph and Rhyl.

An exercise book containing an incomplete? autobiography and reminiscences of William Jones, Allt [d]du Cottage, Tregaron. The work was compiled during the period 1912-1915 and is entitled '[B]raslun o anes bywyd William dy congar ['The Conqueror'?] of Enedigaith yd yn awr'.

Hunting diaries, 1867-1881, of the Neuadd-fawr, Lampeter, Cardiganshire, pack of hounds in and around the Teifi valley, recording weather conditions and the number of hares killed each season.
Five letters, 29 January-23 February 1931, from the poet Huw Menai, Gilfach Goch, to Dermot Spence, [of William Heinemann Ltd.], concerning their attempts to publish his volume of poetry 'Back in the return' (ff. 1-3, 5-11). It was eventually published by Heinemann two years later as Back in the Return and Other Poems (London, 1933).
Also included is a carbon copy typescript letter, 18 February 1931, [from Spence, on behalf of] Heinemann, to Huw Menai (f. 4). The letters contain references to Leonard Woolf (ff. 1, 4, 6-7, 11) and comments on J. B. Priestley's novel The Good Companions (London, 1929) (ff. 2-3) and Robert Graves, Poems 1926-1930 (London: Heinemann, 1931) (ff. 7-10).

A copy of Huw Menai's Through the Upcast Shaft ([1922], 3rd edn), with newspaper cuttings of later poems pasted in and added to the list of contents and notes in the author's hand on flyleaf and f. i (NLW MS 21884iB). Additional cuttings of poems pasted on loose sheets as a continuation of the printed volume, together with three autograph poems, one typescript poem bearing manuscript additions and other cuttings found loose inside the volume, have been filed separately (NLW MS 21884iiD).
