A typewritten transcript, with manuscript insertions, by K. M. Davies and W. Lloyd Davies, Bournemouth, of the enclosure award of Henllan Wastes and Denbigh Green, 1814. The transcript was made at the County Offices, Ruthin, in November 1936. Inset are a typewritten copy of the article on the award by W. Lloyd Davies which appeared in the Bulletin of the Board of Celtic Studies, Vol. IX, pp. 247-71, and a 'pull' of the map accompanying the article.

B., presumably indicating members of the compiler's family, relate to Ilford Hall, Queen Victoria, Whitby Abbey, the cemetery of Beirout and to religious and seasonal subjects.

This collection forms one group of the many manuscripts acquired from time to time (together with numerous printed works) from Henry Blackwell, New York (born at Liverpool, 1851, died New York, 1928). This group includes 18th century light remarks and correspondence by a certain S. D. and J. B.; a transcript, in bardic script, of poetry by Gwalchmai, with illustrations by Hugh Maurice; minutes of a New York eisteddfod committee, 1883-1885, and a notebook recording details of the 1886 New York eisteddfod.
