Denb., together with two coloured hand drawn plans of Penllan Farm where the school was built, 1876/7. Documents connected with restoration work etc on the parish church at Rhosmedre, co. Denb., including a very fine plan by the architect W. H. Spaull of Oswestry, 1888/9. Documents concerning an extension to the churchyard at Ruabon, co. Denb., including two fine plans on linen showing most of the village, one of these is signed as approved by a Secretary of State at Whitehall, 1905/7. Documents concerning the erection of a monument in the churchyard at Llanfechain, co. Denb., including a large drawing by the architect Hy Jones of Southport, dated 1909. Documents concerning an extension to the churchyard at Chirk, co. Denb., including a hand drawn plan, dated 1938. Documents concerning the Redemption of Tithes in Prestatyn and Meliden, co. Denb., with a considerable correspondence with the Land Office etc and a coloured map on linen, dated 1887. A volume lettered on the upper cover 'The Honourable The Irish Society. Report of the Deputation to Ireland in the year 1844'. The contents consist of a manuscript copy of the report presented to the 'Honourable Society of the Governor and Assistants, London, of the New Plantation in Ulster', by the deputation delegated in June 1844, to visit the said plantation. The object of the deputation was to inquire into, and report upon, 'the state of the property, the condition of the Tenantry, and the particulars of the several Schools, and other Charities and Institutions, supported in whole, or in part, by Grants [from the Society]. The visitation was carried out, August - September 1844, and the report signed, 27 January 1845, by John Humphrey (Ald[erma]n, Governor), Wm. Jones (Deputy Governor), Wm. Lawrence, W. Hughes Hughes (Ald[erma]n), William Collingwood, and Thos. Henry Hall. According to an inscription on the title-page, this particular transcript was presented by the Society to the aforesaid Wm. Jones, by whom the actual report had been prepared.

Derrick Webley Research Papers
The fonds consists of the research papers of Derrick Pritchard Webley, mainly relating to his work on the artist Penry Williams. The papers include correspondence, notes and typescript transcripts of letters relating to Williams, his works, his contemporaries and his cultural background, together with catalogues of works by Williams and other artists, and typescript drafts of chapters of Webley's posthumous work Cast to the winds: the life and work of Penry Williams (1802-1885) (Aberystwyth: National Library of Wales, 1997). Also included are papers relating to Derrick Webley's archaeological interests, in particular the palaeolithic geography of the Epirus region of Greece.

Descendants of Rowland Rowlands,
A copy of the donor's research on the family of Rowland Rowlands. He married Elizabeth Samuel in the parish of Llanfihangel Ystrad, Ceredigion, in 1830, and later emigrated to Ohio in the USA. Also included are printouts from America Online, 2006, with a biographical note on J. W. Rowlands, 'one of Lima’s leading citizens'.
