Papers relating to Mary Casey's posthumous novel The Kingfisher's Wing (Crawley, 1987), comprising (i) the original manuscript, [1960s] (340 ff., foliated 1-316, 318-341); (ii) a typescript copy, dated Kenya, 1969, with autograph corrections by Mary Casey (i, 331 ff.); (iii) typescript copies of the preliminary matter prepared by Gerard Casey (title page, preface, epigraph, preliminary note) (12 ff.), typescript notes on 'Plotinus and Christianity' by Prof. A. H. Armstrong (5 ff.), copies of three reviews of the novel (7 ff.) and a copy of the publisher's contract with Gerard Casey, dated 23 May 1987 (14 ff.); and (iv) a copy of the novel's dust jacket; together with a copy of the published book, 1987.
