Thirty-three letters, 1810-1818, addressed to Mary Bettiss, of the Sportsman's Inn, Caernarfon (ff. 21-72, 75-85), including twenty-five, 1810-1814, from Mrs M[artha] Humphreys, Glan Conwy, [Llanrwst] (ff. 22-70); together with a few miscellaneous papers relating to her brother George Bettiss, 1815-1820 (ff. 86-89).
Also included is a letter to Martha Humphreys from her farm bailiff Sylvester McEvoy, 1814 (ff. 73-74), and notes by Edward Hall appended to individual items (13 ff., not foliated).
