A printed bidding letter, December, 1837, of Ann Smith, daughter of Richard and Ann Smith of Wigfa, parish of Kiillybebill, and a notebook containing a list of donations 'bestowed' (or 'conferred') or 'repaid' at the bidding on 12-13 January, 1838. At the end of the volume is an inventory of the estate and effects of the late Richard Smith of Wigfa, 8 November. 1869, and undated accounts of payments to Edmund Davies, mason, and others.

Memorandum of agreement, 1873, between Thomas Baker, shipowner, of Cardiff, and others, re the purchase of shares in the S.S. Llandaff (258 tons); five bills of sale, 1876-1894, relating to the sale of shares in the said vessel registered at Cardiff; and four bills of sale, 1883-1894, relating to the sale of shares in the S.S. Ouse (441 tons) also registered at Cardiff.
A scrapbook compiled by the Cardiff and Wales rugby union player and mining engineer, W. B. Cleaver (b. 1921), comprising pasted-in press cuttings, programmes, telegrams, itineraries and menus of dinners relating to the 1950 British Isles rugby tour of New Zealand and Australia. The volume was originally used as a 'coal output book', 1935-7, for the Tredegar Iron & Coal Co. Ltd.
