Papers, 1980-1990 (mostly 1987-1988), including correspondence, leaflets, and newspaper cuttings, relating to the CND national 'Snowball' campaign which started in 1964, especially the non-violent direct action taken by George Crabb and Carole Harwood at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Llanishen, Cardiff, in 1987, and their legal defence; the two were among the first protestors involved in the 'Snowball' campaign to be cleared of attempting to cause criminal damage under the Criminal Damage Act, and their defence set a precedent for other civil disobedience campaigns.

A decorative, engraved memorial, 1877, to John Jones (d. 1876), Dolau Cothi, Carmarthenshire, compiled and executed by William Davies, Pumsaint, Cynwyl Gaeo, Carmarthenshire, miller, under the patronage and supervision of Augusta Hall, Lady Llanover. Depicted are the deceased's coat of arms, motto and crest, and two views of Plas Dolau Cothi, together with an account of the Johnes family of Dolau Cothi and an explanation of the symbolism in the design; a photograph of Johnes is pasted in the centre of the document. On a label pasted at the bottom is a note signed by Lady Llanover recording that William Davies died on 16 June 1877, three weeks and four days after completing the memorial.
