Biographical history

John Charles Jones was appointed Honourary Librarian of the Cymmrodorion Library in 1934 with the task of sorting, cleaning and cataloguing the papers, manuscripts and books that were stored at 64 Chancery Lane. The whole library had to be removed to alternative storage accommodation at 59 Chancery Lane.
