Fifteen letters, 1816-28, written by William Michell (ca. 1774-1829), vicar of Llantrisant, co. Glamorgan, to his father Dr John Michell, vicar of Fairford, co. Gloucester (4), his mother (10), and his brother Major Edward T. Michell (1), containing mainly news and gossip about the gentry of counties Brecon and Glamorgan, in whose society he moved; included in the last letter is a survey, 1828, of the Michell family estate in Huish Episcopi, co. Somerset.
