Acknowledges receipt of reply to his earlier letters in which he had sent him a muster roll. The Dutch ships which had arrived there have now left, probably towards Karnatak. One of their ships was destroyed and whatever information is received about the rest will be conveyed to you. As I was not getting detailed and correct information, I have appointed Mansa Ram a Harkarah (informer / news collector) and I have sent him to bring detailed information about their whereabouts. I have asked him to inform us immediately if the Dutch were getting ready to cause any disturbances
