History
Penpistill farm, Llangeler, Carmarthenshire, was owned by the Evans family in the 18th and 19th centuries; in 1769, by James Evans, and in 1801-1814, by Thomas Evans, gentleman. By 1885, it was owned by Evan Evans, of Nether Stowey, Somerset, surgeon, who leased it to local farmers. By 1964 it belonged to Mr E. D. and Mrs M. E. Jones.
