Three numbers of the magazine Seren y Dwyrain (Eastern Star, March-May 1944) edited by T. Elwyn Griffiths, and published in Cairo, and a newspaper cutting from the Daily Post, 2003, about him. The papers also include a copy of Parade (Christmas number, 1943), printed programmes of concerts and recitals held at All Saints' Cathedral, Cairo, 1943-1944, together with duplicate and printed copies of music [performed by the Services' Choral Society].

Typescript, [1900x1903], of 'The Welsh Coast', an account by the Rev. John Morgan, rector of Llanilid and Llanharan, Glamorgan, of his childhood in Newport, Pembrokeshire, in the eighteen-thirties and -forties.
The volume contains reminiscences of incidents involving his friends, a sea voyage from Newport to Milford Haven (ff. 39-47), a shipwreck (ff. 107-111) and various stories and incidents relating to ghosts. There are also fictionalised depictions of the early history of the locality (ff. 81-98). There are a few manuscript annotations and corrections by the author in the text and on f. 111 verso. A covering letter, 1942, from the donor is included (f. i).

This volume is bound in morrocan leather and has gold lettering and lines on the boards and spine. The volume is made up of parchment pages sewn on 5 raised cords. The first page contains the Welsh text "ER CÔF" and the signature, "Edward P", of Edward, Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII), and is dated "12 June 1928". The preface contains the following information in gold lettering: "HEREIN ARE RECORDED THE NAMES OF THE MEN AND WOMEN OF WELSH BIRTH AND PARENTAGE AND OF ALL THE MEN BELONGING TO THE REGIMENT OF WALES WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE WAR OF 1914-1918 A:D: THEY ARE COMMEMORATED BY THEIR FELLOW COUNTRY MEN IN THE MEMORIAL ERECTED NEAR BY." The following is noted at the end of the volume: "The work of Graily Hewitt, B.A., LL.B., of Lincoln's Inn, and his assistants Helen Hinkley, Ida D. Henstock, Florence Capey, and Helen Luker. Finished Mar. 1928. Treyford, Midhurst."

Pembroke, who died circa 1614, including 'The Wellspringe of True Nobility yeeldinge forth an ocean of Heroicall descents and Royall Genealogies of the renowned Kinges, Princes, great states, nobilitie, and gentry of the famous Ile of Brittain descended of the blood Royall of the ancient Brittaines but principally the Genealogie of the most highe & mighty Monarche our dread Soveraigne James by the Grace of God Kinge of Greate Brittaine, France, and Ireland ... with many other matters worthy of note gathered by George Owen Harrye Rector of Whitchuch in Kemes ...' (which was published under the title The Genealogy of the High and Mighty Monarch, James ... King of Great Brittayne ... London, 1604); 'a genealogie shewinge how the princes of this land living at this day are particularly descended from Rodri the Greate, Prince of all Wales, lineally descendinge from Cadwallader the last King of the Brittish blood ...'; 'a discourse how and by what meanes and with what greate care the Genealogies of the Brittaines have been from time to time described by the learned Bardes, of their learninge, skill, and knowledge, and of the manner of their commencements and proceedings into theire degrees of learning ...'; 'The Chiefest grounds or stemms of the British Genealogies and how they descend from the kinges of Brittaine'; traditional arms of the princes and chieftains of Wales emblazoned; and eighteenth century notes on the arms of the princes, lords, and gentry of Wales arranged alphabetically.

Minutes, 1937-9, of the ‘Llewelyn Williams Memorial Tablet Fund Committee’, formed for the purpose of erecting a memorial tablet to [William] Llewelyn Williams (1867-1922) [Member of Parliament for Carmarthen Boroughs, 1906- 18, and author], near his birthplace, Brownhill, near Llangadock, parish of Llansadwrn, co. Carmarthen; also a typescript copy of an agreement, 21 March 1939, between [Mrs.] Eleanor Etna Audley Foley-Philipps of Abermarlais, co. Carmarthen, of the one part, and the Carmarthen County Council, of the other, whereby the first party agreed to lease to the said Council, as trustees, the piece of ground upon which the memorial had been erected, with right of access, etc.
