A cartulary of the Benedictine abbey of St Peter, Shrewsbury, compiled and written between 1278 and 1292, with a few leaves containing miscellaneous charters and a pedigree of the descendants of 'Guillaume, seigneur de bellesme', added later.

Original copies of the opinions of people from all parts of Wales towards the 2005 G8 Summit. The papers were collected by the donor during three months travelling around Wales on her bike, named as the Blossom Bike Tour.

A photostat facsimile of a manuscript of the Gospel according to St Matthew, St Mark and St Luke to Chapter III, 9, written about A.D. 700 in mixed uncial and miniscule characters.
The text is that of the Vulgate version of St Jerome with an admixture of many older readings.

Certified and other copies of, and extracts from, Cardiganshire records in the Public Record Office, London and the District Probate Registry, Carmarthen, etc. made for or by T[homas] Allen Glenn and relating mainly to persons in the parishes of Llanddewibrefi and Nantcwnlle; pedigrees copied or compiled by T[homas] Allen Glenn; and a facsimile copy of a letter of recommendation, dated 9 September 1721, from the ministers and members of the Baptist church at Rhydwilym, Pembrokeshire to Harry Griffith on his departure to Pennsylvania - '... mewn bwriad i ymdaith tros wyneb y dyfroedd (os caniatta Duw) oddiyma tua Phensylvania ...'.

One of five volumes containing 'Cyfansoddiadau Barddonol a Rhyddiaethol E[van] Edwardes, yn y drefn y'u cyfansoddwyd, gan ddechreu tua'r flwyddyn 1876 neu 7, pan yn yr U.C.W. Aberystwyth'. Besides original poems, translations and adjudications, they include notes of addresses given on such subjects as 'Defodau Eglwysig', 'Trichan-mlwyddiant yr Archddiacon Edmwnd Prys', 'Awr gyda Hen Ddiarhebion Cymraeg', 'Mynachaeth, Mynachod, a Mynachdai', 'Hen Arferion a Dywedion Cymru', 'Coelgrefydd a Dewiniaeth', 'Derwyddiaeth a Derwyddon', 'Lloffion o'm Dyddlyfr', etc.

A copy, made about 1842, of a journal, in verse, of a tour or sojourn in South Wales, with a close association with Cilybebyll, together with a collection of poems, including translations from German, by the same anonymous author. The sub-sections of the journal have the following topographical titles: 'Graig Alltwen and the Mumbles', 'Cwm Clic', 'Llanguicke', 'Llyn-y-Fan', 'Coed-y-Brain and Carrig Marie', 'Gelli-Onnen', 'Carrig-Dinas and Cil-Hepste', and 'Plas Cil-y-bebyll'. At the beginning of the volume is a letter in the same hand as the text, signed 'M.E.D.B.' and written from Sevenoaks, 31 August 1838, to James -----, referring to the 'journal' and giving an account of Knole Abbey.

A volume described as Post Office Vol. VIII and containing drafts and fair copies of letters and statements from the General Post Office to the Lords of the Treasury, March and April 1790, concerning the postage of letters and methods of checking them, accounts of twopenny letters from April 1789 to June 1790, dead letters, statements of the conveyance of mails in coaches, correspondence relating to the Leeward Islands Mails, statistics and correspondence relating to the Packet Boats, West India Packet Postage in 1789, and the Dover Packets, and weekly returns of the Packet Boats on the Falmouth Station, March-July 1789; copies of letters from John Drummond to Thomas, 2nd baron Walsingham (1748-1818), in 1789, relating to French schemes in the West Indies and elsewhere, to the manufacture of saltpetre, and to papers belonging to Sir Walter Raleigh (1552?-1618) and Sir John Hawkins (1532-1595), some of which refer to the alleged discovery of America by Madoc ap Owen Gwynedd (fl. 1170); letters from Joseph Cawthorne to Lord Walsingham referring to the Asiatic monopoly of the East India Company; printed copies of Acts of Parliament, 17-18 cents.

A journal of tours to Tenby, Aberystwyth, etc. from 9 August to 3 September 1831, to the English Lakes from 1 to 29 August 1833, and to Matlock and Bakewell from 24 to 29 August 1835, with notes on a later tour, 1840, and some sketches.

Four holograph and two autograph letters, 1929-1947 and undated, written by Richard [Arthur Warren] Hughes, author of A High Wind in Jamaica (London, 1929), to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leach. The writer refers to a visit to the Adirondacks, a cruise with Harrison (Hal) Smith, the sale of 11,000 copies of his novel, his indebtedness to Henry Leach for the title of A High Wind in Jamaica, the schooling of his children, his removal from Laugharne Castle to Talsarnau, Merioneth, etc.

A volume of Jno. Lloyd, Mid[dle] Temple, 6 January, 1767, entitled 'Of the proceedings at Law in the Court of Great Sessions held for the Countys of Flint Denbigh and Montgomery in Wales as they are stated in the Books which relate immediately to this Court. Copied from a Book of Jno. Madocks Esqr. all of his own hand writing taken by him in the year 1749 when he went ye Welsh Circuit'. At the end of the volume are some legal precedents and a list of contents.

Commercial Memorandum-Book, with an Almanac for 1854 ..., with notes on Greek grammar in the hand of Thomas Charles Edwards, first principal of University College of Wales, Aberystwyth.

A typescript copy of the probate of the will of Rees Lewis of the parish of Killycwm, Carmarthenshire, yeoman (father of Morgan Rhys, Llanfynydd, hymnist), 10 September, 1779 (will dated 26 June, 1768); and two typescript copies of the probate of the will of Morgan Rhys of the parish of Llanfynydd, Carmarthenshire, yeoman, 7 August, 1779 (will dated 2 August, 1779), together with a photograph of a section of the original will comprising testator's signature and seal.

A manuscript souvenir (with illustrations and press cuttings) of the silver jubilee of the accession of King George V and Queen Mary, 1935, as celebrated in Barbados, British West Indies. The volume is in the hand of Evan Taylor, Bridgetown, Barbados.

An essay by Richard Hughes, Tai Newyddion, Rhostryfan, Caernarvonshire, on 'Nodweddion unrhyw ddeg o gymeriadau hynotaf yr ardal yn ystod yr haner canrif diweddaf', which was awarded the prize at the Rhostryfan and Rhosgadfan Literary and Musical Festival, Christmas, 1903. The writer has added a note to the reader ('Gair at y Darllenydd'), 1 January, 1904.
