The fonds comprises the papers of Ronald and Stella Garrett-Jones, 1923-1989. These include printed material, periodicals and pamphlets, mostly relating to communism and peace, 1923-1989; miscellaneous letters, leaflets, pamphlets, catalogues, programmes, scripts and reports relating mainly to nature and the arts, 1950-1976; policy papers, resolutions, minutes, letters, reports and newsletters relating to the Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Great Britain and the Welsh Congress, 1960-1989; reports, letters, minutes, newsletters and leaflets relating to Women's Rights, 1970-1989; press releases, minutes and publications relating to the FUW (Farmers Union of Wales) and the TUC (Trades Union Congress), 1980-1989; together with newsletters, letters, leaflets, reports, submissions, posters, minutes, notebooks, newspaper cuttings and maps relating to various pressure groups, especially to CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament), 1981-1989.
