An album of about one hundred and fifty autographs of royalty and of distinguished politicians, public men, and clergy, mainly of the nineteenth century, and mainly collected by Colonel John Lloyd Wynne, Coed Coch, Abergele. An album of photographs and autographs, mainly of ecclesiastical dignitaries; and letters, 1850s- 1900s, together with signatures cut from correspondence, largely addressed to the Reverends John Samuel Sidebotham, Henry Sidebotham and Thomas William Sidebotham, from ecclesiastical dignitaries including Randall T. Davidson, Charles Thomas Longley, A. P. Stanley, Archibald Campell Tait and Samuel Wilberforce. Other correspondents include W. Holman Hunt (1) 1874, Charles Kingsley (1) 1868, Francis Turner Palgrave (1) 1861, and Alfred Tennyson (1) 1870. A few of the letters and signatures are tipped into the album; the remainder, many of which were found loose inside the album, have been filed separately (MS 22672B).

B. J. Morse: Poems

A volume entitled The Collected Poems of B. J. Morse, typescript, 'issued privately at Trieste in 1926 by M. Belohoubek Zum Sande' who also provided ink drawings and, probably, the binding. The poems are the youthful work of Benjamin Joseph Morse (1899-1977), scholar and translator. This copy, 'the only one in this form', was made for 'Siarl Davis, M.A.' (f. 44v) [i.e. Charles Davies (1901-1953), author and lecturer].
