A manuscript of John Roberts ('Ieuan Gwyllt') used originally as a register of the pupils who enrolled in his school at Nanteos Arms [Capel Seion, near Aberystwyth] from its foundation on 12 June to 1 July 1839. The volume was subsequently used, [c. 1839-1840], to record hymn-tunes, hymns, metrical psalms, etc., by 'Ieuan Gwyllt', and notes of sermons by John Hughes, Pontrobert, [Thomas] Richards, Fishguard, David Howels, Thos. Evans, O. Williams, and H. Hughes, Llanrwst.

A volume lettered 'Etchings, Sketchings, and Scribblings by F. P. G.', being a collection of holograph poetry in English, with copious pen-and- wash illustrations, by F. P. Gwynne, St. Julian House, Tenby. Among the titles are 'The Border Legend, or A Fiction of the Welch Marches', 'The Battle Field, or The Gallant Soldier, Dedicated to The Royal Welsh Fusiliers', 'The Welch Harper's Lament', and 'The County Church in Pembrokeshire'. The paper is watermarked 1856, and one of the poems is dated 1858.

A volume of popular Welsh poems on religious and scriptural themes written c. 1673-1674 by James Phillipp(es), with additions made a generation later by Phillipp James. The poems belong to the type of verse known in Cardiganshire as 'halsingod'. Linguistic evidence suggests that the authors were natives of East Carmarthenshire.

A register of births of Tal-y-wern Baptist Church, parish of Penegoes, co. Montgomery, 1809-1851 (with a gap for 1838-1845 inclusive). The entries are recorded in A Register printed by John Jones, Llanrwst, in 1832, but the greater part of the volume is blank and the entries to June 1847 are recorded on printed sheets (watermark 1817) which are an insertion from a separate source. The entries to 1837 are registered by the minister William Evans and the remainder, with one exception, by the minister Richard Davies ('Yr Hen Belican').

The speeches were delivered respectively at Newcastle Emlyn, Cardigan, Lampeter, Aberaeron, and Aberystwyth.
