A notification to Llewelyn son of Griffin, prince of Wales, 6 June 1281, that as result of the recent inquisition into the laws and customs of Wales, the king has caused it to be pronounced that the same laws and customs shall now be held, observed and determined in those parts as in the times of the predecessors of the present king. The king informs Llewelyn of this that he may prosecute a plea between himself and Griffin son of Wemmwen (?Wenunwen) concerning lands in those parts. Transcript, 19 cent.
