Requesting the editor to publish in his paper an account of the superstition connected with Fynon eilion in the parish of Llandrillo on the borders of Denbighshire and Caernarfonshire. According to this superstition one could curse one's enemy by writing his name on a stone and throwing the stone into the well. To escape the curse the ' enemy' would have to perform certain ceremonies and pay a sum of money to have the well drained and the stone removed.
