Llyfr eglwys Bethel (Caeo) a Bwlch-y-rhiw, etc.,
A typescript copy of a Baptist church register entitled 'Llyfr Cofnodol Perthynol I Eglwys Gristianogol Dan yr Enw Y Bedyddwyr Neulltyol Yn Cyfarfod yn ngyd ar brydiau i Dori Bara yn yr Amriwiol Leoedd Canlynol Sef Argoed a Phenycoed yn Sir Abertifi Abarduar Bwlch y rhiw Bethel a Salem Yn Sir Gaerfyrddin &c'. The original register covers the period 1751-1857, while Evan Lewis's transcript [see note under 561 below] was used independently and unofficially till 1875 and varies considerably from the original after 1841. The first part of the original register, from 1751 to 1765, is in the hand of the Reverend Timothy Thomas ('Y wisg Wen Ddisglair') of Aberduar, but the greater part of the volume was written by his brother the Reverend Zacharias Thomas and by the latter's son David Thomas of Llwynywermwd, Llan-y-crwys. Most of the entries recorded by David Thomas, from 1789 to 1839, relate only to the churches of Bethel (Caeo), Salem (Caeo), and Bwlch-y-rhiw.
Llyfr Eglwys Ffynnonhenri, etc.,
A volume originally used as a register of the Baptist church of Ffynnonhenri, parish of Cynwyl Elfed, co. Carmarthen. It contains records of baptisms, excommunications, restorations, and deaths, 1808-1842, and of births and registrations, 1790-1838; accounts, being largely particulars of collections towards meeting the debts on Baptist meetinghouses, 1810-1817 and undated; and a memorandum of the rebuilding of the third meeting-house at Ffynnonhenri in 1823. From 1815 onwards the volume is in the hand of David Evans, minister of the church, who has added copious notes of sermons (of which one is dated New Year's Day 1853) and a few personal accounts and memoranda. The first leaf of baptisms, containing thirty-two entries, is wanting. The paper is watermarked 1807. There is a list of contents ('Cynnwysiad'). The upper cover is lettered 'Coflyfr eglwysig a nodiadau yn llawysgrifen y Parch. D. Evans, Ffynnonhenri'.

Glamorgan, Unitarian church in the hand of the Reverend John Evans (1835-1888), minister of Gellionnen, 1862-1884, recording persons received as members, 1864-1884 (ff. 2v-6), marriages, 1874-1886 (ff. 47-9), burials, 1862-1887 (ff. 68-91) and miscellaneous memoranda relating to Gellionnen, 1863-1885 (ff. 31v-3). Probably begun by John Evans in 1865 (see note on f. iv).

A register of Salem Baptist church, Ferryside, Carmarthenshire, containing a brief history of the cause, details of membership, births, baptisms and deaths, and other memoranda pertaining to the church, 1797-1847. A note by Thomas Edwards ('Iorwerth Goch'), Lletty Ifor, Mountain Ash on f. 74 records that the volume was used by him while compiling 'Hanes y Bedyddwyr yn Salem, Glanyfferi, o'r dechreuad hyd 1890' (Aberdar, 1891). Also included are memoranda by Thomas Edwards including an account, 1897, of the descendants of William and Phebe Jenkin, Cwmslac, St Ishmael, Carmarthen, in the hand of his son Llewelyn Morgan Edwards (ff. 34-71).
