A collection of research papers, mostly of the period 1970-80, accumulated by musicologist Joan Rimmer, largely relating to Nansi Richards (Telynores Maldwyn), with some relating to John Parry (John Parry Ddall) and Edward Jones (Bardd y Brenin). The papers include letters, offprints, and manuscript music scores, including one copied in 1895 by W. Ll. Roberts of Penyceunant.

'A Sketch of Life and Literary Labours of [Robert John Pryse] Gweirydd ap Rhys' written 'by my daughter Grace, in 1866'. A copy, in the same hand, of an undated covering letter from 'Gweirydd ap Rhys' to [Thomas Gruffydd] ('Tavalaw') indicates that the 'Sketch' was prepared with a view to the formation by 'Tavalaw' of a petition for a 'Civil Annual Grant' for 'Gweirydd ap Rhys'.

Letters from the Boer War, &c.
Some sixty letters, 1901-1902, from Lieutenant Thomas Lewis Prichard, first Battalion Royal Welch Fusiliers, South Africa Field Force, to his parents, the Rev. and Mrs Thomas Prichard, Llanbadrig Vicarage, Anglesey. Written mostly from South Africa, they describe his experiences on active service during the South African War, 1901-1902, including accounts of skirmishes with the Boers and the progress towards peace (ff. 1-121). Also included are four letters, 1914, relating to his service in France, where he died on 11 November 1914 (ff. 122-129).
