A Letter from John Morgan, clerk, to his friend David James announcing his admission by the Bishop and conveying a messuage to Mr. Powell that he will do him good to his utmost. He had been unable to keep and appointment at Lanpill as that very day he had to go to the Bishop for his admission.
A Letter from John Philipps Laugharne, Orlandon, to Richard Matthias Lochmeilor, again requesting him to peruse a certain deed of exchange and enclosure in which no notice whatever is taken of any road leading from Castlekenlasse to Castlereddin over Reed's farm. The writer's tenant is at present indicted for a riot for stopping some carts of lime.

Jones, cancelling a promissory note for £1,000, dated 1 Jan. 1878, in consideration of various services rendered by Mr Jones to John Vaughan. The cancelled promissory note is attached. The letter itself was written by O. R. Owen, Bowydd Buildings, Blaenau Ffestiniog, at the request of Mr Vaughan, and was signed by John Vaughan in the presence of O. R. Owen.
