A file marked 'Rev. W. H. Owen St Asaph. Letters found in Album with Felicia Hemans and family's letters', with a note in pencil by J. R. Hughes, 1925, stating that Mrs W. H. Owen, Rhyllon, Kinmel, St Asaph, was a sister to Felicia Hemans. [Harriett Mary Browne (b. 1798) married (1) Thomas Lewis Hughes of St Asaph, and (2) the Rev. W. H[icks] Owen, Rhyllon. She dec. 1858 and was buried at Tremeirchion. See Yr Haul, 1858, p. 381.]. There are seven letters addressed to the Rev. W. H. Owen (together with the words of a comic song, 'The Jolly Cats') and one to Mrs W. H. Owen. The correspondents are W. Cleaver, John Jones, St Asaph Savings Bank, 1833, John Jones, Hope Foundry, Liverpool, 1837, R. Waldo Sibthorp, Ryde, 1841, and Jane M. Lloyd, Rhagatt [? 1858]. The letters from R. Waldo Sibthorp, four in number, are concerning a commission for labels (arch.) with texts on them.
